v0.1.41 — Unapproved development (not released)

Based on v0.1.40. The development source adds package approval checks in self-update staging and the external updater, trusted installed-verifier loading, protected-path and symlink rejection, and associated negative regression tests. A local 28-test run passed. Not independently accepted; not deployed. See v0.1.41 development notes and test report.

v0.1.40 — Deployed baseline (user-reported; documentation not accepted)

The v0.1.40 archive records Documents-tab link changes, document-link auditing, and updated dashboard/navigation. The release notes in that archive describe it as a candidate. The user subsequently confirmed deployment; independent documentation acceptance remains unresolved. See archived v0.1.40 notes.

Changes

• Permanent documentation traceability registry with stable requirement IDs and linked source/test evidence.
• Documentation audit script and versioned exception report.
• Structural documentation checks integrated into the ZIP release gate.
• Readable HTML and styled DOCX renditions of seven primary documents plus the integration specification.
• User Guide rewritten for first-time users; Administrator Guide expanded with setup and troubleshooting steps.
• Documentation tab offers HTML, DOCX and Markdown links for primary documents.

Known limitations

• Semantic correctness requires independent review and live tests; static source references alone do not prove behavior.
• Stage 3 backup/rollback failure-path defects remain unresolved and are explicitly recorded as a high-severity unverified item.
• The external updater remains independently installed.

KIP Interfaces — Release Notes v0.1.33

Base: accepted v0.1.30. v0.1.31 and v0.1.32 were rejected during staging.

• Fixes compatibility with the installed v0.1.30 pre-install validator: updater files referenced in the manifest now exist under the staged application directory.
• Includes the complete external updater both as a bundled application subdirectory and as a sibling directory for separate installation. The installed external updater is not automatically replaced.
• Includes the Documentation tab entries for specifications, guides, release notes, and test reports.
• Stage 3 deployment/rollback hardening remains pending; no claim of live deployment success.

Base: accepted v0.1.30 (v0.1.31 was rejected during staging). Scope: correct staging integrity validation and complete Documentation tab.

• Corrects package validation of sibling KIP-Interfaces-Updater/ files: their manifest paths are relative to the ZIP extraction root, not the application directory.
• Displays all current guides, specifications, integration contract, release notes, and test report in the Documentation tab.
• Includes the updater sibling source, but does not automatically install or replace the installed external updater.
• Retains outstanding Stage 3 deployment and rollback safety findings; failure-path tests remain pending.

KIP Interfaces — Release Notes v0.1.31

Base: accepted v0.1.30. Scope: documentation and enforceable release packaging gates. Status: corrective candidate; not Stage 3 deployment-safety acceptance.

• Bundles the complete supplied KIP-Interfaces-Updater v0.1.22 sibling source, including installer, runtime and README; retains historical lib/updater-old.php as supplied.
• Adds normative Release Specification and package validation script; updates user/admin/system/functional/integration/handoff documentation.
• Records Stage 2 user-reported live acceptance (10/10 checks passed) without rewriting historical reports.
• Does not modify internal deployment/rollback code or installed external updater. Stage 3 audit high-severity failure paths remain open and must be addressed in a separate tested corrective build.
• Existing self-update path installs the application only. The updater is included for release completeness, but is not automatically installed.

v0.1.37 — Documentation-only update

See Release Notes. Application logic unchanged; production installation unverified.

v0.1.44 documentation maintenance and status

Current packaged release: v0.1.44 (documentation correction). Last user-observed installed release: v0.1.43. Historical references to v0.1.41–v0.1.43 in preceding sections describe earlier checkpoints and must not be interpreted as the current packaged continuity baseline.
