KIP Interfaces v0.1.46 — Release Notes

Base release: v0.1.45. Scope: naming and deployment-path migration only.

• Rebrand the application from ChatGPT Interfaces to KIP Interfaces, including the GitHub integration UI.
• Rename the application folder to KIP-Interfaces and external updater to KIP-Interfaces-Updater.
• Keep the existing private data directory chatgpt-interface-data, session name, and deployment archive path to preserve installed accounts, records, and retained packages. These are compatibility identifiers, not public product names.
• Read existing chatgpt-interfaces self-client configuration as kip-interfaces in memory, adjusting its target and package root to the new directory.
• Require separately installed updater v0.1.37 for future self updates.
• Historical documentation and archived release packages retain their original identity.

Migration: This is a manual directory transition, not a self-update. Back up the application, updater, and private data. Upload both renamed directories and confirm access, login, GitHub functions, retained archives, and updater detection before retiring the old URLs. Do not run both installations against the same private data concurrently.

Limitations: Live hosting migration and rollback have not been tested. Existing recovery directories tied to the old application basename require manual handling; do not rename or delete them during the migration.
