v0.1.39 candidate note: This document includes inherited material; live verification and full requirements reconciliation are pending.
KIP Interfaces — Verification and Acceptance Plan v0.1.45 (inherited plan; pending independent review)
Release identification
Each run must record package version, SHA-256, updater version, PHP/runtime environment, test date, test operator and exact deployed environment. Do not report historical or simulated results as live acceptance.
Test classes
Unit tests cover individual functions. Integration tests cover component interactions. Regression tests preserve accepted behavior. Deployment tests cover installation, backup, rollback and fault injection. Documentation tests cover navigation, parity, traceability and executable examples. Live acceptance is performed independently by the administrator after deployment.
Required evidence and status
For each stable test ID: requirement ID, prerequisites, expected result, actual result, steps, timestamps, logs, failure reproduction, status PASS/FAIL/BLOCKED/NOT RUN/NOT APPLICABLE, and links to historical runs. A test can PASS only after execution. BLOCKED and NOT RUN are not equivalent to PASS. Release readiness is BLOCKED by critical unresolved defects.
Release gate
Before offering a deployable ZIP: static integrity and PHP lint, package manifest verification, updater/rollback failure injection, documentation audit, internal link checks, and complete status report. Before user acceptance: live administrator installation and rollback exercise with retained data verification. The release must not be marked accepted merely because automated tests pass.
Release artifacts
Release specification · Current test report · Documentation audit.
Historical release notes and development appendices
Earlier checkpoint descriptions are retained in the versioned Release-Notes-v0.1.41.md through Release-Notes-v0.1.44.md and historical continuity records. They do not describe current v0.1.45 behavior.
